yeah! I could not believe DH coming in after work and rooting for L.A.!!! Game 7 it is now!

Tonight is the first game of the finals.....rooting for the Rangers....pulling for our ex-coach...he clearly was able to coach the team better than Torts did (in both cities)

We wanted to catch a late movie, so pressed " record " on the tv to catch the final minutes of Game 2. We were so careful not to have the radio on coming home so no spoilers....DH is rooting for L.A. I am rooting for New York.
Who would have guessed there was a double O.T. ( which the stupid PVR dd not record....with ( sniff sniff) L.A. beating new York ( again!!)
O.K. New York the next 2 games are at home now....time to shine!!

Don't forget that the draft is end of June and then Free Agent Frenzy on July 1. Lots of interesting stuff still to come to keep us avid hockey fans engaged.

So far so good....liking that this new GM isn't afraid to 'pull the trigger'.......and we got rid of an overpriced defenceman and Kesler who clearly thinks we're losers and doesnt want any part of this team anymore. Now we just need to trade up so we can get hometown boy Reinhardt : )

It's August....another month closer to NHL season, so time to bump this thread.

I see Toronto is still picking up our leftovers lol....actually i really liked Mike Santorelli, he brought some spark to an otherwise awful Canucks season, he should do well in the Eastern Div.

I am very anxious and excited to see my 'new' team, lots of changes in the off-season. Can't wait for the season to start ! GO CANUCKS !!

Don't know much about Booth or Santorelli.
Sounds like Booth was not very effective for the Canucks.
Oh well, even though the Leafs haven't made a ton of upgrades and everyone says they will still stink, I am always excited for a new season to begin.
Got my rubber brick to toss at the TV when they piss me off.
