I kind of miss the auditions.
Interesting challenge after they picked the first group - going against Gordon.
(Uh, where's the other half of Graham?)
Man, they should have kicked Astrid out right away for treating her workstation floor like a garbage can - ew! - OH, and crap, she got through.
Wow, such drama at the end; glad they let her through.
About Graham's weight loss - 150 pounds lost after weight loss surgery since MasterChef Junior

I thought I had missed an episode because it didn't have the auditions, but I have to say I enjoyed the fear of them just being stopped and kicked out. I noticed right away that Graham was like half of himself. Still a big personality though. Thanks for the link. Glad he decided he needed to get his health in order.
Agreed that Astrid should have gone. That is totally unacceptable. Does she do that at home? I also can't believe she said that she "thought they had people who cleaned." Doesn't mean you can just throw stuff on the ground. It is so unsafe.
I'm glad they let Elise in too. She has so much heart and passion. Even if she doesn't make it into the top 10, it'll be interesting to see her cook.
I liked seeing Gordon cook. We see them judge but sometimes its nice to see what they would do with those ingredients.

I had to PVR it too and when I went to watch it I started it again, thinking I missed the beginning. Oh well.
Yes! garbage chef lol. That was disgusting, sheesh. Not to mention dangerous. And she seems to have a little attitude, too. Anyone else see her butting heads with someone at some point?
Good for chef Graham. wow 150lbs! that's like another person.
I too liked seeing chef Gordon jump in and the other two sample his dish.

So Astrid was eliminated after the mystery box challenge. Courtney won the mystery box and then annoyed me with her comments about being a puppet master. Part of her win was that she could save 10 from having to cook in the elimination challenge. Leslie and Elizabeth got into a thing and Gordon basically told Leslie to grow up. For the elimination challenge they had to make meatloaf. Whitney was sent home.

Glad Astrid was booted!
Too bad Courtney got cocky - that's never good.
She did pick the best item for them to cook, and her cook choices were strategic.
Not a fan of Leslie from last week yet...
Really good episode!
Oh, that winning cake, it looked so yummy!

I like to think about what I would pick if I had the opportunity and I would've picked the meatloaf. It's not easy to Masterchef a meatloaf without going really wrong, which we saw. Think she made a good choice.
I have to say I love the Gordon/Big Willie bromance going on. I don't know if I'd go so far as to say that Willie could win, but I like him, he's got a good personality and seems to have a lot of passion.

Interesting that Courtney explained her picks, not sure if that's such a good strategy at this point. She's confident, I'll say that much.
Picking a bunch she feels are poor competitors then
she picked Christian as someone she'd like to compete with at the end (If I remember correctly?). Why? lol

Man, I was hoping there would be a way Leslie could be eliminated, but it was not to happen.
Glad Elise got to stay.
Crazy cooking for 500 - that's just nuts!
Boy, did I ever want some blueberry pie last night!

Leslie is so annoying. He's so cocky and pompous and it gets on my nerves. When he was talking about how Daniel should have saved him, I kind of just wanted to scream at him. He seems like an entitled whiner. Nothing he did, as far as I was concerned deserved him being saved, unless something was left on the cutting room floor.
I'm not sure what possessed Stephani in putting whole pecans in a blueberry pie crust.

Does anyone else have to get the munchies out for the show? Seriously this show makes me so hungry. Graham and Joe look great and I love Gordon.
