I went into Target to see if they had one of those Cozy Couple Little Tikes cars for dd, they didn't but actually had the Safety First car seat that's in the flyer in stock(they didn't yesterday). So I'm carrying it to the check out and a guy that works there asked me if I needed help carrying it, I said I was fine, but he insisted telling me he gets paid to help customers out. He takes me to customer service and when the girls working there didn't show up within 5 seconds of us reaching the till, he signs in and cashes me out himself. I got t 10.00 gift card and he insists on carrying the box out to my car for me(it wasn't heavy just big). Then when I get home I'm looking at my receipt and realize he also took 10.00 off my bill, I figured he must have just applied the gift card to my total but when I called to check the balance there was 10.00 on the card!
I love Target!

No it just says minus -10.00. But the car seat and the diapers I bought both show up on receipt as the right price. I was wondering if maybe car seats and diapers weren't taxable, because my total was within a few cents of what the cost was without tax, but I was charged HST.

SDM- personal mailed coupon for $2 any Quaker granola bars
On sale for $1.99
Wasn't sure if it would apply to all or just one so I grabbed 9 boxes. Cashier hit total and everything rang through as FREE!! I would have bought more but I didn't know when she hit total it would spit out the reciept. I guess I should have added something else to the bill, oh well. I am happy with my freebie

Fence Panels!
I just got back from Home Depot and got 11 of the white plastic 6x6 fence panels for $248 and change!
Each panel was on for $20! While supplies last of course. They are regularly priced $96 each!
I should have paid over $1000 plus tax but instead I paid $248 tax included! I'm so happy!

Just joined Kiva.org, an organization that funds micro-loans to people in developing countries. I love the idea that the $25 I saved in groceries can be given to a fish woman with 5 children in the Philippines to help grow her business.
