It's literally less than a 10 minute drive from where I am at the Distillery. It's amazing what they've done at the Brickworks. To think that folks drive an hour or more out of the city, when this is just about in downtown Toronto. Even the traffic on the DVP is barely audible, the only thing you can hear is the odd train passing by.

Happy Hump Day Q sters,
it was a warm, cloudy day & just before 5pm, it poured like crazy. by the time i got home, it had slowed down, so i was able to get in thehouse without getting soaked. Had to go out about an hour later & it was back to pouring buckets of water. the winds where blowing & i could see the water going across the road like ocean waves. everyone hold on o your hats & umbrellas.

Well, I am Looking around for either a Better J*b or Weekend w*rk.
A co-w*rker complained that he wanted to do Standby and they just gave it to him!!
Without the Standby Pay, it is basically a Pay cut for me.

So, I am without a Cell Phone.
The one that I had was for... yep... "Standby".

Having something taken away after over a Decade of no complaints is a Kick-in-the-Teeth for sure.
...and the Knife in my Back does not Tickle too much either.

Time to Look Ahead, instead of staying stagnant.
I Know that there is Something Better out there for me.


So... the Full Moon did not have my Tongue.

so to hear your boss gave your standby away. i hope you can find something or as Lee mentioned, maybe talk to your boss & the both of you can alternate weekends.
