Is is this something people really have to buy? (I am really curious) I had gestational diabetes with both of my pregnancies and I was given a new one free both times with free test strips. They even gave me a top quality one because my husbands medical coverage covered most of the cost. (They said if it didn't they would have given me one with cheaper test strips.)Intergalactic Proton Powered Electrical Tentacled Advertising Droids!

for me this is a good deal because i have a lot of family in Africa who cant get the machines for free, and strips cost about three dollars each (per strip not per box so a 25 count box of testing strips like we received is worth 75 dollars. ) I realized they send as many as you request as long as different email address. I know its not the best thing to do ordering many but honestly i know my aunt cant afford them and she has had a lot of medical issues associated with diabetes like her eyes going so i would rather her test as much as possible.
so long story short, it is something some have to buy (the strips for the most part)... i didnt even notice the quality comment... these are def some of the best you can get contour dominates the diabetic industry and are very major players.

thanks for answering me. I wonder why doctors will give them free to some people and not to others. I know I was lucky that dh had the medical coverage to pay for the test strips. (I honestly never looked at the cost before discount only what we actually had to pay. which was usually covered by the superbucks for filling the prescription at superstore.) I cant imagine having to test 4 times a day (that's what I had to do during my pregnancies more if I had to retest for any reason... and I know some have to test up to 8 times a day.) and paying full price for every single test strip.
I am glad that you are able to send them to your familyIntergalactic Proton Powered Electrical Tentacled Advertising Droids!
