OMG! Really, Spain?!

So there's a call to euthanize the dog that belongs to the person who has Ebola in Spain, so over 300,000 people have signed a petition to test it first and let it live.
REALLY?
This, coming from a country that encouraged the torture of bulls as sport?!
Just so stupid and disgusting.

The dog should be held in quarantine until it's determined to be free if Ebola, which it likely IS.
Can things get more out of control? Talk about fear-mongers!

Apparently animal lovers have united and are blocking the entrance to the home. (so Far so Good) The dog has a courtyard to do his business on and his owner (also quarantined) left him 33 lbs of food and lots of water
There is no recorded instance of any dog contracting or passing on the ebola virus.

Let's hope the Texan authorities don't do anything untoward a nurse's dog while she's in quarantine for Ebola; article mentioned that the dog is being looked after. I'm surprised how quickly units will move into someone's apartment or home if they are considered a risk to cleanup a place-don't they need permission to go into someone's home? And what measures are afforded to her personal items/id etc? Never seem to read about that detail.

At least in Dallas they have her little critter in quaranteen, being fed and watered, and even provided her with a video or how well it's being cared for. For Texas, that's a big deal.......good for them.
