While modern products are much better than what were available in the past, I once again have to recommend the Diva Cup. I'm using it at this moment. Every month I make use of it, I'm thinking I should have discovered it years ago! All I use now is a pantyliner as a backup, and don't really need even that. I think of my period twice a day, that is all.

I know I keep going on about this. But it's such a fabulous product, I want to share how great it is, and it's not something you can bring up just anywhere!
Since we on the topic you keep saying you think about it twice a day
Its reusable so do you wash it? So you remove it twice a day?????

Yes, that's correct. It is reusable. I put it in in the morning around 6 am, empty and put it back around 6 pm. I rinse it with warm water in between, sometimes soap, not all the time.

Never heard of this diva cup. Until now. Not sure how it works you mentioned you empty it, I would be grossed out by that personally not for me, you seem comfortable with it, maybe it takes getting used to.

Agreed! It's still blood on a pad or tampon.
I've been using my Diva Cup for 4 years and can't imagine using anything else! It's the best thing when you're traveling or camping.

My mother had hers at age 30 or 31, she found the recovery was a little rough (the days of getting back on her feet at the hospital) but she said it was worth it!
