Good shopping at the swap shelf at the university with everyone moving out. Nice plastic hangers yesterday, huge binders (nice ones, no writing or stickers), legal pads and notebooks today!

ok so i am busy submitting a panel proposal online on wonky software from hell and canada post comes to the door with 12 (!) boxes of Dare Simple Pleasure Cookie Bars - 4 California Crunch, 4 Oatmeal Cranberry, and 4 Raisin Spice (6 bars in each box). it's for their word-of-mouth campaign - I'm supposed to distribute to friends as "Team Captain" - so all can give feedback to "THe Influencers" website on how they like them apples! The admin staff at my univ. will get lucky today - i have a meeting with my supervisor, and will distribute said cookies to the lovely people who are actually the pillars of postsecondary ed. Still have to read the instructions, but wow, what a much-needed arbitrary distraction from the drudgery of pounding out a thesis!

i gotta get back to work, but hope to be back online late tonight for some games and general diversion - thanks to the person who posted the Dare link (can't remember who and don't have time to check just now).
