Good Morning Everyone!

I'm not sure why Josie had all her teeth pulled Wendark but it happened a few months after she had been in the H.S. Poor thing she was there sooo long and was a nice looking kitty. They were telling me a girl and her mother came in looking for kittens but found none and on the way out the door the girl spotted Josie and wanted her. The adoptions guy had a long talk with them and explained Josie would need time to come around and would probably be hiding for a while and you would need to be gentle with her etc etc They assured him they are not the type to return an animal so I sure hope it works out for her. The owner of Tux left a long letter saying what a great cat Tux had always been but gave him away anyways because they were moving (?) A cat is easy to take with you but what can I say.........

Hope everything works out for Josie! Tux's story is a sad one - it is beyond me how anyone can give up their pet let alone for "moving"?? When you take on the commitment of having a pet, it should be viewed for life and where you go so do the animal members of your family. I'm sure that sometimes there may be extenuating circumstances, but gosh I couldn't leave my kids behind and my pets are my kids!

That's right Edwards! I could never ever give away my kitties, wouldn't want to and couldn't live with myself if I did. The reasons people give are ridiculous, the point is they just don't care and those poor animals can't help who they end up living with, it is indeed very sad, I was talking to the adoptions guy and had to leave in a hurry as I started to cry......
