We had a Great Day! Met a lot of my fellow volunteers for the first time. Spent the day checking accreditations at difference locations within the Toronto Pan Am Sports Center in Scarborough. Today we had athletes from several countries practicing their routines in the Aquatics section of the facility. Mexico, USA, Bolivia and Canada. There we no spectators today, only the Athletes and the Press.

Happy Birthday to your Dad H.
Dededi - what was "odd" about your dinner ?
Thanks to every1 who asked about Jake. Unfortunately, he's still sick. Not only does he have conjunctivitis (pink eye) in both eyes, but he's so weak / lethargic, that we were in for tests all day searching for the cause of his vomiting, diarrhoea, etc. - Addison's disease, liver disease, ............... He's been sick for over a month now.

(this isn't him, just cute)

It's funny that what is considered yucky in one culture is considered a delicacy in another (I've eaten a couple of things on that list
).
When we were in Charlottetown, we heard stories about growing up on the east coast. Back in the day, D's classmate was teased mercilessly cause B took lobster sandwiches to school, and only poor people ate lobster. Most people used lobster as fertilizer for their lawns and wouldn't dream of eating it.
