Thanks for the info, Mia. I do note, however, that the link is to Amazon.com and not .ca, which is a bit strange. Is there a .ca link...or is Amazon US becoming more Canadian friendly? I'd definitely give it a whirl and sign up under you because I use Amazon all the time...but I'm a bit confused. And I would prefer a Canadian link, if its available. For one thing, the free items we get from .com could well have high customs fees.

"for leaving a high-quality review" ....not sure I like the sounds of that..I used to look up to amazon reviews for help and now it seems half of them are false just because someone received a free item. If this is what they're going to ask of us..I'll pass, unless I can give an honest review, not one that suits them.

The site is not directly from Amazon but affiliate site. Also, items are not free but "discounted". It works on a point system where you have to do activities to earn these points. Requires a whole lot of work.

You can have up to 100% discount which makes an item free. This program is for Amazon Prime members, and yes, it's for Amazon.com yet.

On Amazon lots of reviews were written by people who get an item for free thanks to some affiliate review program (site). This one is new and is opening for Canadians as well.

It's now live! I logged on Amazon.ca and could request some deals for completely free (100% off for a "selfie stick", silicon sheet for bakings)) and one for 99% off (vitamin c serum) which is 50 cents. Let's see what happens and in any case, I will keep you updated.
