    Starting a thread for anyone noticing changes in the SDM marketing (other than the personalized coupons).

    What changes are you noticing in store?

    At one of my local stores, there was a table set up with a man giving out PC product samples. He was letting people try out the PC cookies and PC sparkling juice.

    I used to have 3 SDM near me in 3 different directions depending where I was going but not anymore so I don't shop there much anymore to notice anything new. It's good to know what they are promoting now so thanks for posting.

    ^ Agree! I have not shopped there for more than three weeks [I think] now. My offers are too lame :p so I cannot justify myself to spend more. Not sure what is Loblaws up to?

    I agree with you and haven't shopped there in about 3 weeks either. For such a huge flyer they put out weekly, it's the same stuff on sale with very predictable prices. Yes some things are good sale prices but I sometimes found myself spending extra on stuff I don't need just to hit the $50 or $75 for points. So I'm going to step back a bit plus I've been waiting for a redemption promo and nada!!!

    I have noticed less electronics in SDM flyers and 2 stores near me have completely removed their electronics sections in store. Alot of my points are redeemed for video games and accessories for my children so if this continues I think it will definitely effect the way I save and spend my optimum points. However.....the stores that have closed the electronics sections are being renovated to include more grocery space which could be a good thing for me. I'm not too sure how happy I am about the changes yet
