On Sept 16th Rona had the Dual Flush 2-Piece Toilet on SALE for $59.00 each! The toilets are regularly priced at $159.00 each. We missed the sale even though my partner and I knew about it. After a few emails to head office the assistant manager from Rona's called yesterday to honour the price for $59 each toilet. It gets BETTER! Each toilet has a $50 rebate because they are high efficiency Water sense toilets. So after rebates we paid exactly $23.90 including tax for both toilets. The retail value for both toilets is $333.90

The rebate is in my city. It's a rebate toilet program for changing our old toilets. If you do buy a toilet in your area check to see if there is a rebate program. Thanks for the comment. I never thought I'd be happy buying toilets. Guess that changes when your a new home owner lol

Awesome deal, we had a similar deal a few years ago but nothing even close to that. Congrats.

nice going mandy! Great that they honoured the terrific sale price! We pretty much got a free toilet too when Ontario had a rebate programme ( bought a few years ago at Home Depot ) BUT our toilet was low flow I believe and was $59.00 and we got back $60.00 or $75.00 I forget now.
Oh and the lineups were crazy!! Seemed like everyone was leaving the store with a toilet. ha ha

Thank you! I was so excited about the $59 each toilet price. Even without the rebate it was an awesome deal and we definitely needed them. It was a total bonus to find out about the rebate as well. I just hope these toilets work great. That's awesome you could get a free toilet as well.

mandy we have that same toilet hubby put it in 2 years ago -we got it at rona only we paid no tax day I think 89.00 which is still better than full price(all three of my toilets were bought on sale -one I even price matched and saved an extra 10% -no rebate in our city
-the toilet is great nice height -the only thing is I am middle age now what happens if its hard to push the top flush button when I get older like say 75 as my fingers have arthritis in them now (never thought of that when we bought it)its in our bedroom so not used as much)
-way to go mandy on this super deal

Thanks for letting me know I was a little worried it wouldn't be a good toilet. Hopefully when your around that age it doesn't cause issues pushing the button down. Maybe when your around that age the toilet will already of had a lot of use (flushes) which makes the buttons easy to push down in the future. It's going to be weird not pushing down a handle lol
