Thread: Shoppers Super Bonus Redemption
-
Wed, Dec 2nd, 2015, 11:59 AM #1
Does anyone know if there will be a Mega Redemption Day before Christmas? I was told it is usually 2 weeks before. I'm trying to cash in my high level points? Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

There was a redemption day last Sat, Nov 28th. I'm not sure there will be another one before Christmas... Best bet would be to follow the SDM Thread.
Keep Smiling!

Just to add to what Super Mel said: I always see comments about Mega Redemption but I've never seen one and have been on this forum for 4 years.

that sounds about right @torontogal12 . My one and only Mega redeem was in 2010/2011? ( in that range ) Lucky for me I stopped all buying from SDM right after I got my $400.00 worth of foods.
Until this most recent SDM GC promo I have had near zero points. Now I have a few to maybe play with for one redeem at some point, but I think those Mega days are gone??
Anyone else more qualified than me to answer this? ( I've been out of the SDM game for a while )

I was only able to participate in 1 Mega Redemption a few years ago...I couldn't even sleep the night before.
I honestly don't think it will happen again...with Loblaw took over SDM we're getting fewer bonus redemption and the amount keep getting lower each year. Maybe the program will be convert to PCplus later too...who knows...
$250
$230/$225 (can't remember)
$220
$210
Now it's $200

lol!! I had 2 carts overflowing, MINI carts eh? and I was ALL alone ( DH never really understood the whole Optimum points thing so I was not going to beg him to come with me ) BUT when I was bringing all the stuff into the house him and the kids were in disbelief it was all free till I showed them the receipts.....ahhhhh those days are over for me. BUT it sure was a thrill to have done it that one time.
