I resigned myself upstairs to my lonely writer's garret,
To try and jot down some meaningful lines that contain merit,
As some of you know I often add more then my 2 cents worth
But, I do try and keep my banter light and add a touch of mirth,
Sometimes I go on tangents and my cheekiness is revealed....
haven't figured out how to stop myself let alone how to simply yield,
I'm glad if you've enjoyed my rhymes and hope never to offend,
Cause if is in the spirit of friendship that my words are always penned,
One of the things I have to say, it's been fun to come here to unwind,
I think we all keep one another bolstered & aligned,
So 2016 awaits our input to make it all that it can be,
Keep your mind and spirit focused and that will be the key.

Our Friend is always Up Early, so She tends to go to Sleep Early.

Another Friend has Hired me to Paint a Bedroom, so I am Starting that on Saturday.
She has already picked up the Paint & Supplies.

Had a darn dentist appointment this morning which I wish I had of booked for a different day. Gotta head downtown to check out Henry's for some deals for one of my daughter's x-mas presents.

Later heading out to a New Year's Bash featuring Jack de Keyzer and Jerome Godboo for some good music etc.
There may be some surprise guests too...................apparently they have done this show for the last 7 years or so............

The National Weather Service has pegged 2015 as South Florida’s hottest year on record as December sizzles to an end with average temperatures soaring up to 14 degrees above normal.
An official declaration of the landmark warmth came Wednesday morning, but has been suspected since November when seasonal changes failed to bring cooler air to the southern reaches of the Sunshine State.

The snubbing by Old Man Winter has only intensified in the waning days of the year. West Palm Beach has broken or tied seven overnight heat records this month, including Tuesday when the mercury dipped to only 77 degrees. The normal overnight low for this time of year is 58 degrees.
“If one word can describe South Florida’s weather in 2015, it would be HOT,” wrote meteorologist Robert Molleda in a year-end report issued by the NWS office in Miami. “It will go down as the hottest year on record at all four main climate sites.”
The year-long average temperature in West Palm Beach was 78 degrees, 2.6 degrees above the norm in records dating back to 1888.
While official weather sites are stationed at the international airports in West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, and Naples, it was other sites monitored by NWS forecasters that saw some of the hottest temperatures this year.
Readings of 99 degrees were recorded in April at the Boca Raton Airport. A Royal Palm Ranger Station in Everglades National Park registered a high of 100 degrees on April 26 – the first time on record any South Florida location has hit 100 degrees in the month of April.
Another first: none of the official stations dropped below 60 degrees this month.

Waiting for bff to play chauffeur and take us to my Mom's for New Years festivities (I suspect martinis are on the menu, tuna-flavoured ones for the brats ). Managed to do something silly to my foot (have a scratch where I'd had a skin graft years ago, so a bit concerned), so I'm limping a bit today. Clearly there will be no dancing with doggies tonight - I'll have to settle for kisses.
