I'm going to interject during all of this Star Wars talk to say that I watched Ricki and the Flash today. It started out kind of slow but the ending turned out pretty good, however, not one of Meryl Streep's finer roles, imo. 6.5/10

Sisters and 8/10! Humorous and could relate to the retro memorabilia in the movie!

Watched Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back today... will probably do the Jedi tomorrow. Is it just me or was Skywalker really whiny in the first movie? So irritating. And I don't like Yoda, never did. I'm on team Vader.

Vacation 2015 6/10
It had laughs, mind you they came from raunchy jokes, but still. I was all set to watch it with the family... damn good thing I checked IMDB before that happened So dirty compared to the first one. However, @Patty Smyth .... there is one scene that would interest you.. there's a certain someone who is usually covered in zombie guts with a short appearance Here's the link to the clip if you're not interested in watching the whole movie... can't blame you if you don't, it wasn't all that great.

Straw Dogs 6/10
No stellar acting but it was fine for a Friday night pajama movie.

The Last Witch Hunter 2/10
This was a poorly written, poorly executed movie. Sometimes you wonder why accomplished actors (Michael Caine) star in them apart from the paycheck. Vin Diesel may be nice to look at, but his acting is pretty awful. He would do wonderfully in an Expendable movie where acting skills don't really come into play.

The Scorch Trials 7/10
The movie itself was ok but if you're looking for a screen play of the book you can keep looking 'cause this ain't it. I hate when a movie is made out of a book that I like only to find out that they weren't true to the original story. What's the point then of making the movie??

the big short - lots of stars in it. very scary how so many had a hand in how things went so horribly wrong.
it was a docudrama about how the housing market collapsed.
interesting but if i had known it was a docudrama i would have waited to catch on netflix or something. 5/10
