Yesterday morning I went to Loblaws. I noticed they don't use the easily identifiable pink stickers in the meat department much, instead they have "enjoy tonight for 50% off" stickers. My eye is trained to look for the pink but now I have to look more closely. I bought:

Salad in a bag x 2 @ $3.49 each -50% = $1.75 each
4 angus burgers $7.99 -50% = $3.99
whole chicken x 1 $ $5.85 -50% = $2.92
whole chicken x 1 $5.79 - 50% = $2.82
4 bags old mill bagels $2.50 each - 50% = $4.98 + 1600 PC points
1 pizza @ $5.99 - 50% = $2.99
2 cheesecakes in a jar, $4.99 - 50% = 4.98

Before discounts $52.83
After discounts $26.48
Used $20 in PC points for $6.48 total
Earned 1600 points

Today I went to Metro and bought 2 Marks' gift cards at $50 each and picked up 60 air miles per card. Heading to Mark's later!l

Yeah, the chicken price blew my mind, although the points were for the bagels! Also, Mark's is having a 20% off sale today and I got 2 jackets both at 50% off and then an additional 20%. Not a bad day!
