Warning to animal lovers this video shows a vet in St. Catherines, Ontario abusing animals in his care....just terrible.

This veterinarian should lose his license in my opinion.

it was tough to watch, I saw this on the news yesterday.....just makes no sense ( the supposed punishment ) he received.

I am in shock after watching I have a fur baby of my own and can't imagine what all the pet owners that goes to that clinic is thinking. I am in agreement that he should not practice at all

On Thursday afternoon, following a complaint by animal law group Animal Justice, the Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals announced it had launched a formal investigation into Rekhi and his practice. He could face criminal charges of cruelty to animals.

He was also fined $10,000 as a “partial reimbursement for the costs incurred in the investigation and prosecution,” the statement said.

So.....what I get from reading the details in one of the articles above it says that " Rekhi ( Vet ) was trained in India and licensed here in 1999 "
So how can the rules and procedures be so very different in India than they are in Canada regarding the handling and treatment of an animal
( whether under anesthetic or not ) . Are they claiming that animals are treated by vets this way in India?
