I stick to my previous posted contention.
The station saved themselves hundred's of thousands of dollars in promotional costs to increase their listener base.

Was glad to hear today at the THS that I prevented a couple of cute kittens from going to a home where their potential adopters would most definitely have had their claws/nails cut off!!!(declawed in other words)..When they arrived they asked me if the THS declaws all the cats there!!! well that was such a dumb question I couldn't believe it (they totally frown on it because it is cruel!) I told them no, they would never do that and just said "oh well, we will get it done ourselves then" When I seen them with an adoption agent I told her about their intentions, they couldn't adopt that kitten anyways because he was going to foster so they spied another one, I told the other adoption agent and he told me today that they told them they wouldn't be able to adopt a cat from the THS at any time and he thanked me for letting them know their intentions. Good, I know they will go somewhere else but at least they won't get any from the THS. Some people think declawing is okay but look it up - it isn't.........
