You can say that again!!
Hubby and I had another "date" week-end in Montreal.... One of the guys that hubby plays hockey with had tickets to the Habs / Leaf game at the Bell Centre and couldn't go, so he gave them to us!! He knew that we were there 3 weeks ago and knew that we both love wearing our Leaf's jersey's to cheer on the Leafs when they play against the Habs.... Although we lost again (apparently 12 in a row at the Bell Centre) it was a good game. If Price didn't stand on his head again, we could have had a chance!! Price is such an amazing goalie and so nice to watch as a player.
Our drive home today was horrible... We checked out of the hotel just before noon and didn't get home until about 9:30 tonight... Although we made a few stops along the way, the drive / weather was not good. We almost stopped in Napanee for the night because the roads were so bad, but then decided to keep going.... The snow started before Cornwall and didn't stop until past Cobourg.

Oh, I know just what you mean Lee.
I was driving along this afternoon and
the sun went right in my eye. I had to
quickly put on my sunglasses. Yeow!
What a dangerous situation.

good morning, qts!
no question that winter has arrived. nasty winter drive in today. snow started in earnest south of the bloomington ridge to about hwy 7. it got lighter south of that. be careful out there!
http://www.680news.com/2016/11/21/special-weather-statement-issued-toronto-gta/"Toronto and the GTA are under a special weather statement, with more snow in the forecast and icy roads expected to snarl the morning and evening commute.
Environment Canada issued the weather statement for Toronto, Caledon, Mississauga, Brampton, York, and Durham on Monday morning.
Flurries off of Georgian Bay are expected to continue, and some areas could receive an additional two to five centimetres of snow.
Roads may be icy and that will have a significant impact on traffic. Beck Taxi is already warning that wait times may run slightly longer than normal.
The weather will be cloudy and windy with few sunny breaks, 680 NEWS meteorologist Jill Taylor said.
Winds could hit 50 km/h, with even stronger gusts in some areas. There’s a high of 1 C in the forecast and with the wind chill, it will feel like -8 C."
Today
Flurries. Local amount 2 cm. Wind northwest 40 km/h gusting to 60. High plus 1.Last edited by heartgirl99; Mon, Nov 21st, 2016 at 05:35 AM.
