I've recently gone back to acupuncture and was wondering if anyone else has tried it and been literally exhausted after treatment?
I went for a 5th session yesterday and afterwards I went home and slept for most of the day. This thread is currently associated with: N/AAlways remember the What are you thankful for today? thread as there always is something to be thankful for.

i don't know about acupuncture but, my guess is maybe your body needs more rest to recover and acupuncture act like a medication that force you to do so.....just my simple opinion

Skippy, I know that it's a relaxant, it stimulates the release of endorphins.
In the Chinese tradition, it's helping refocus the chi - to relax and heal the life energy. (I guess i've learned something from our niece, who is a Dr. of TCM)
So with each/both of those, I can see how you are feeling the way you are. Sleep is corrective/restorative.
My BIL is doing acupuncture as an adjunct therapy to doing chemo for his cancer, and is doing quite well.
