Distribution: A recall of Robin Hood brand flour announced last month by federal health officials has now been expanded to all of Canada.
Recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the store where they were purchased.

I always empty mine into a huge Tupperware bin that I've had forever...thinking maybe I should err on the side of caution.

Lots of people do this and don't have the bag. I'd chuck it.

I just happen to have Co-op flour right now; I do usually buy Robin Hood.

The local Hamilton daily tweeted about the expanded recall.No one is taking chances with that bacteria.

My flour has the same upc code but my best before date is April 18th and my code has 1 number different so I am keeping my flour.

Additional products added to recall

The recall now covers products produced by Ardent Mills of Brampton, Ont.


They include one-kilogram bags of Brodie self-raising cake and pastry flour; Creative Baker all-purpose flour in 20-kilogram bags; Creative Baker whole wheat flour in 10-kilogram packages; and Golden Temple Sooji creamy wheat in two-kilogram packages – each with various best-before dates.

The initial recall affected Robin Hood flour in 10-kilogram bags but the CFIA says the recall now includes Robin Hood flour in one-kilogram bags with best-before dates of April 14, 15 and 18, 2018.

Walmart refunded my bag of flour no problem.
