i am exclusively breastfeeding but idealy i would like my baby to be able to take a bottle occasionally so that i could pump ahead of time and either be able to go out for an evening and leave baby with nanny or at least be able to enjoy a glass of wine (or 2 ). so far i have tried evenflo, gerber and playtex regular and when i try to give him the bottle he spits it right out and looks like i just put mud in his mouth. he also isnt thrilled with the pacifier. i dont know what to do because my first child didnt care the delivery method, he wanted food any way he could get it, and loved the pacifier!

baby is 3 months and he wont drink breastmilk or formula from the bottle.
do you think its even possible to get him to drink from a bottle? anyone else had a baby like this and found a bottle that worked?

    suggestions please

Have you tried getting someone else to give him the bottle while you're not in the room? You could also try the Adiri Natural Nurser, he might take that.

Are you using slow-flow nipples? They have to work so much harder for breastmilk - I remember my oldest son sputtering if I used anything other than slow-flow nipples, because it came out too fast for him. Just an idea!
