Zellers Pantene deal!

Hey everyone! Today I was at Zellers with my mom looking for some deals and we ran across this BOGO free pack of pantene shampoo, and get this... it was priced on the shelf for $1.19! I thought maybe it was the wrong tag so i ran to the price checker down the aisle to see and lo-and-be-hold it rang up as $1.19! so we bought 2 pks each with our save $2 WUB2 save.ca coupon (wasn't going to chance it on the one pack of 2 since it said BOGO free on it, i might be pushing it)... so we only spent 0.40 some odd on all 4 bottles!
the cashier was so surprised when it rung up as 1.19 she thought it was a mistake then laughed and yelled to the next teller beside to look at this great deal (it was pretty quiet when we were there, and the other teller then ran to grab some of the bottles for themselves!)... then when we handed the coupon ontop of the deal she wasnt going to take it...anyway like everyone knows there is usually some sort of coupon disagreement when a good deal is involved, but in the end she did end up taking it and we paid 0.10 per bottle!! yay! (hope others can find this great deal too!)

oh, too bad i didn't find any tonight when i was at zellers. i was trying to find some deal on panteen since i have a $2.50 wub 2 coupon expiring soon. however, i didn't have any luck. and then i tried to grab 2 travel size bottles. but the cashier couldn't read the teeny tiny letters on the coupon, so she called help from another cashier, who is as old as she is, i guessed, and the 2nd cashier took off her glasses and I guess she couldn't see the fine letters either. but she said the picture didn't have travel sizes, so couldn't be used on travel size, even though the coupon didn't say excluding travel sizes. anyway, I didn't buy it. I didn't feel bad about not being able to use the coupon which they should let me use. Instead, i feel it is a bit of a laugh and feel sorry for bringing pains to two old grannies to read the fine letters. LOL

...Michelle <3, i am in ontario, so i def hope you find some on your hunt... check the very top shelf.. (they weren't near the other pantene products aswell, kinda mixed with other shampoo stuff)

...cottoncandy, way too funny, isn't that Murphy's Law totally LOL! "how many cashiers (old or young) does it take to scan or validate a coupon!" ... def the case, sometimes you just have to laugh!
