I have Shaw but I understand about loosing channels and no one telling you. Shaw took away half my channels once I complained multiple times till I got the right person who reinstated them I mostly pay for internet more then I do cable. My mom is trying to convince me to get rid of cable and stick with Netflix. But I cancelled that subscription months and months ago.

Bell sucks unless you are in a area that they are the only game in town especially for internet. In my area I have found that Rogers is the best game in our town that I have found.

I find that hard to believe. We've used Shaw for 18 years in Ontario and many more years before that in BC. We've never had an issue with them. We're with Cogeco for phone and internet and anytime I call them for anything, they ask me if I want to add TV. I always say no because I refuse to leave Shaw. In fact, I'm waiting for Shaw to bring telephone and internet east so I can go with them exclusively.

Ongoing Saga: our Bell cancellation was never processed (again) and this morning I woke up to an e-mail saying they added services to my home phone. We did not request and when I spoke to Bell to have the new service cancelled I was able to get the person to confirm it was added by the gentleman who was rude to my wife and did not process her cancellation request. I tried called last night but was on hold for 45 minutes. I am speaking to them now. I am waiting to talk to a retention supervisor to see why I cannot cancel, why the guy yesterday asked my wife personal questions about me, told her I should fix the problems we are having and then told her we would have the same problems with Rogers since they use the same line. Bell is fibre and Rogers is cable, two completely separate lines. I am wondering if they failed their IQ tests to get their jobs!
