Hello from San Francisco. We docked this morning, had a tour of San Francisco, enjoyed clam chowder in a sour dough bread bowl & are now at the hotel chilaxing. Heard you guys had some crappy weather. Glad I wasn't there for it. Hope it's warmed up some. After 13 days of beautiful sunny, warm 80 degree weather, San Francisco is a balmy 55 & rain. For me, it's freezing, for you, it might be warmer than what you're having. Tomorrow we head to Sonoma/Napa Valley for 2 wine tours. Sunday, I'll be heading home.
Happy that Jen is no longer, hoping Fred joins her.

Thanks HG... life for me had been very chaotic the last year or two... Good and bad....

on a positive note, I am loving my 10 month old grandson, and my "baby" is getting married!! I'm sure that life will be even more crazy (in a good way) in the months to come!!

Potential for freezing rain Wednesday evening and Thursday morning.

A low pressure system from Texas will track towards the Great Lakes on Wednesday. Precipitation associated with this system will begin as snow Wednesday evening for most parts of the Golden Horseshoe and Central Ontario, but will quickly change over to freezing rain and then to rain overnight.
The same series of precipitations is expected a few hours later over Eastern parts of the province. However, eastern regions may see 5 to 10 centimetres of snow and ice pellets before the changeover to freezing rain early Thursday morning.

Untreated surfaces, such as roads, walkways and parking lots, could become icy, slippery and dangerous.

Brampton council to hold candlelight vigil to remember Riya Rajkumar, 11

Another vigil is planned for today in Brampton for the 11-year-old girl who was killed on her Valentine’s Day birthday. Members of Brampton city council say they organized the candlelight memorial for Riya Rajkumar, set to begin at 5:45pm to give the city the chance to come together to mourn her death. 41-year-old Roopesh Rajkumar has been charged with first-degree murder after Riya's body was found in his Brampton home, shortly after an amber alert was issued late Thursday night for the girl. Hundreds of people turned out for a vigil on Saturday in Mississauga where Riya went to school.
