On page 6 of the RCSS flyer, Lipton Chicken Noodle dry soup 1.35 kg is sale-priced @ $9.98 with an in-store bonus 2,000 PC Optimum points offer. When I was at RCSS St. Catharines this morning, there were a lot of these boxes in a table at the back of the store with a sign stating a price of $4.84. With the 2,000 points offer, I couldn't pass this up. Good for my family and good for the Food Bank!
Each 1.35 kg box (makes 64 bowls) contains 4 separate boxes of 4 pouches = 16 bowls of soup. The best before date is 2020/05/06
Also, on a clearance cart at the middle of the store, Maple Cheerios 306g is clearance priced @ $1.44. BB date is January 2020
For both of these items, there are lots more on the regular shelves of the store and they scan at the clearance prices.

As you enter the store, there are carts of hot dog buns (Wonder?), Wonder Bread and Old Mill Bread priced @ $ .50 with 30% pink stickers, dated today but great for the long weekend BBQ or French Toast.
On the clearance cart (near the new scanner), boxes of 18 No Name ice cream cups (cones) are $ .94 with a best before date of July 2020.
One aisle over, where the laundry products are, is a cart full of clearance-priced laundry detergent in a variety of different brands. I suspect these are clearance priced because either the packaging is changing or the scent is changing. I didn't buy one of every kind but I did get these:
Purex Dirt Lift Odour Release 2.03L (44 loads) @ $1.44
Tide Cold Water Clean Free 4.08L (72 loads) @ $5.44
Tide Simply Free & Sensitive 1.77L (38 loads) @ $2.44
No Name Oxi-Burst Dirt Release 1.92L (36 loads) @ $ .94
No Name Cold Water Dirt Release 4.43L (96 loads) @ $2.24

There is a new price scanner roughly in the middle of the store, at the end of one of the shorter grocery aisles. The clearance cart is where that price scanner is.
Last week, there was an additional clearance cart with laundry products at the end of the laundry products aisle. It was one aisle over from what now appears to be the "regular" clearance cart (by the price scanner).Last edited by lotsasavings; Mon, May 20th, 2019 at 07:49 AM.

I was at St. Catharines RCSS today, price-matching to go along with a number of the bonus points offers in this week's flyer. Since I had read on SC that some RCSS locations are now allowing more than a max of 4 for price-matching, I thought I would check. The CSM told me their store is going with a max of 8 for most items but will make exceptions within a "reasonable family purchase" of some products. Good to know!

Thank you for posting this @lotsasavings , this is great news! Not the Limit 12 I was hoping for, but I will take what I can get. I've got my friend out in Whitby hopefully checking with her RCSS for their limit (If they changed it). Hopefully they don't try to "abuse" the "reasonable family purchase" by leaving it so open ended that they could deny anything they feel like. As long as my friends RCSS has increased the limit, it will make shopping so much easier. Currently, we split orders and claim Limit 4 each for some items as her family goes through a lot of food (like 8pks of 18 eggs when they're on sale for $3.00 or less)

FYI @johnb56789 the Newmarket RCSS apparently raised their limit up to 12. I believe you mentioned your parents live there

OOOOOHHHH, yes they do live "close" to the Newmarket RCSS... Well, a half hour drive each way, but it's the best option for groceries. We only have Vince's and Foodland in our little town (Tottenham), so we normally go to Newmarket for grocery shopping. That is very good news! Thank you for letting me know!

Cherries are STILL $ .94 a pound! I asked an employee in the produce area why they were so cheap and he told me they have way too many of them and would rather sell them at a clearance price than throw them out.
They still had lots today in several areas of the produce department. They're small but good.Last edited by lotsasavings; Wed, Jun 12th, 2019 at 07:19 PM.

I was at No Frills on Lake/Lakeshore today and bought Breyers Creamery Ice Cream. It's on sale in the flyer for $3.97 with an in-store offer of 1,000 PCO points.
I have no idea as to why or whether this is at all No Frills locations but I had a nice surprise!
Instead of receiving 1,000 points for each tub purchased, my receipt shows 1,000 in-store points PLUS ANOTHER 1,000 in-store points for each tub purchased.
I bought 8 and used 8 x $1.00 coupons plus I had a digital points offer which earned an additional 6,400 points.
One sweet deal!
Added note: I bought 4 different flavours (Chocolate, French Vanilla, Maple Walnut, Neapolitan) and the double points were given for all of them.Last edited by lotsasavings; Thu, Jun 13th, 2019 at 08:57 PM.

Lake/Lakeshore has Tim Hortons instant coffee on clearance 50 percent off $7.99. $2 off coupon makes it not too bad a price. They had a few original, decaf and a third flavour I forget. Looked like overstock.Last edited by Big Pink; Sat, Jun 15th, 2019 at 10:13 PM.
