I've joined this panel as well. I don't get that many surveys (maybe one a month) but any Aeroplan points I can get, I will take!

umm dumb question what is the difference between airmiles and aeroplan? I only have an airmiles card which never gets points lol because I don't usually shop where they accept them...

    Search and win with SWAGBUCKS!

They are both completely distinct programs.... Air Miles is typically earned through shopping, Aeroplan miles are (or used to be) earned mainly by flying Air Canada and its partner airlines, credit cards, hotels and car rentals. Aeroplan was spun off a few years ago from Air Canada and is trying to be a shopping card. Best thing to do is have both accounts and use them where ever they are accepted.

Keep in mind that Aeroplan miles expire seven years from the date they are earned, and the entire account expires if there is no activity in one year. Air Miles accounts do not have that limitation.

I also don't shop much at Air Miles stores but I got an American Express Air Miles credit card and get points that way no matter where I shop (wherever they take American Express...).
