    WOW What a terrific game for the Jays in the first half of the double header today

    Being down 4 - 1 early they came in the 11th inning to make the score 9 - 5

    Final Score Toronto 9 - New York 5

    Toronto now leads the AL East over NY by 3 1/2 games

    4 more HR today after 5 Yesterday

    What a great day for Blue Jay fans on this double header day in New York

    First Game

    Toronto 11 - New York 5

    in 11 innings

    Second game in a rain delay in the 6th inning

    Toronto 6     - New York 3

    It is raining pretty hard right now , but since 5 innings have been completed, it could be classed as a complete game.

    Time and the umpires will determine the eventual outcome of this game.

    If it stands as nowW, Blue Jays will have a 4 1/2 game lead on the Yankees at the end of the day.

    Back from my conference and just wanted to wish both Kawam and HG a very Happy Belated Birthday! I hope you both had great days and were able to party the night away!

    In case you haven't noticed, Jays are only back 2 1/2 games behind the Royals for the overall lead for the American League standings.

    Their run differential (Runs scored vs Runs allowed) is now +203. Their closest competition in the American League is Houston at +103.

    In all the major leagues next best is St Louis at +105
