Last night was chicken breast, sweet potato and fresh asparagus.
Tonight- Thinking Salad (with homemade dressing using up my lemon with chopped cucumbers/onion/peppers) with chicken or a burger patty.

I was starting to get worried that no one was eating any of the Marry Me Chicken dish except me.
Personally I loved it, enjoying 3 smaller servings in one day! The guys seemed to be stuck on reaching
for the cooked hamburgers that were left over.
So, I left subtle hints and placed a note on top of the lid. DH said something negative about the cheesiness
of it....PFFT! Finally DS got into it and wow! I woke up today to see the empty casserole dish in the sink...ha ha
I won't cook any work meals for them until Wednesday. Last night DH opened up a pkg. of those sausage style
hoagies from Walmart. They'll take them in with a large crusty bun and leftover potato salad.
What a gorgeous day out there today!

Yesterday I made some lovely Pizza ( from Natasha Kitchens ) which did take time ( yeast and the proofing ) but always turns out.
The guys said they will take slices of that in for their work meal today....yahoo!
Then I tried making something called Cevapi, except I use ground chicken instead of the traditional lamb or beef. These were cooked
in my new Air Fryer. Tasty spices made the meat mixture so yummy! ( cumin, coriander, smoked paprika, oregano, cayenne and minced
garlic and onion. The recipe only made 8 x finger length sausage shapes.
Then later I made a batch of Pita ( again with the yeast and proofing ) but they puffed up great in the 500 degree oven! I don't think I've
ever set my oven to 500 before. Both the pizza and the pita were cooked on an inverted heavy cookie tray ( I don't have a pizza stone. )
My hydro bill may go up! ha ha
I decided to lay out the Cevapi Taco style. The guys can insert the meat sausage into their pita and add things to the pocket! Still not sure
what sauce would compliment this. I don't have any sour cream to make tzatziki. They'll figure something out but if either of them dares trying
to put ketchup in there I will protest! lol.

Last night I was not hungry for dinner at all but didn't want to wake up at 3am starving so I had the leftover chicken breast and 1/2 cup of soup I had made and froze
Did the trick and I was satisfied and ate chicken for 4 nights in a row! No chicken tonight!!

DH roasted up one of his signature herb encrusted pork loin roasts on Monday but for some weird reason I
just didn't feel like eating any. Was craving plain cream cheese with crunchy sliced veggies shoved into a
Brioche bun.
By Wednesday DH noticed that DS and him were the only 2 eating up the slices.
After Monday's home dinner and the 2 of them taking the same for their work meals all week I suspect they
feel like you @Frugalbigmama . NO more Pork Loin please! ha ha

Dinner is all made! I enjoy the make ahead way. 2 lovely T-bone steaks, seared both sides of them first,
pressure cooked for 20 min. with scant splashes of red wine, soy sauce and Raspberry Vinaigrette dressing in the pot.
Transferred the steaks to a small roast pan, smothered with lightly sauteed onions, mushrooms and some of the liquid.
Covered and into the oven for a slow cook at 320 for 30 min.
Time to cheer on the Jays.....the last chance to win ONE of the games against the Texas Rangers!!
The first 3 went to the Rangers.
