DH made one of those rib sticking " kitchen sink " chicken noodle soups. Slurping is allowed.

Got busy making both a potato/sausage casserole and Chicken Adobo. The aroma in here is off the hook. These 2 dishes will get the guys through the remainder of their work meals, and also there is plenty to have some at home too.

Picked up a roast from No Frills today. I needed something good for dinner.
So roast is in the oven and mashed potatoes, gravy and broccoli will be ready soon.

Made up a dinner trying to empty some contents from the freezer. So...8 small boneless pork loin chops, Shake 'N Baked, served with applesauce and a tray of split open flat garlic shrimp appy's. Sides were steamed broccoli and roasted butternut squash. Strawberry custard tart for dessert.

Just DH and I for dinner tonight as DS had grabbed a small snack when I was napping. Pan fried fish fillets ( cod and basa ), wedges of fresh lemon, boiled white potatoes and one corn on the cob each, steamed in microwave. We've defrosted a key lime pie to have for dessert with coffee ( decaf ) later on.

Yesterday I made a batch of homemade falafel, ( cooked in the Air Fryer ) made the goop up that ya smear inside the pita too! Mmmm, then I trimmed about a half a large head of cauliflower ( florets only ), sprinkled them all good with S & P, chili & garlic powders, then rolled them through beaten egg, then crumbed and air fried. The dipping sauce was a mixture of minced garlic, lemon juice, diced parsley, sour cream and Greek yogurt.
This is my dinner tonight! Did I say Mmmm already?

Decided the guys are getting burgers for their Wednesday work lunch and coleslaw.

Last night I made a Mexican “lasagna” (plant based of course) and it was sooooooooooooooooooo good. Dh took leftovers today so no leftover lunch for me today

Sunday Dinner Thanksgiving menu for 9 ( plus a few Appy's to start )
Appy's
Tater Tot Cheesy Cups. Bacon wrapped water chestnuts, Bite sized corned beef on " bun " ( bits of sliced corned beef placed in between plain cake Tim-Bits)
crab meat mixture on Triscuits , seedless red and green grapes, Wine, beer homemade punch ( to each their own )

Dinner

Roasted turkey with sausage stuffing, homemade cranberry jelly, gravy, Baked ham with BBQ'd fresh pineapple wedges, mashed potatoes, " smashed potatoes ",
Roasted sweet potatoes, Roasted butternut, acorn, and Delicata squashes, A twice baked Turk's Turbin squash, alternate layers inside with sausage/onions/sour cream/mashed squash
Roasted heirloom carrots, and zucchini, BBQ'd Mexican Spicy corn cobs ( 2" pieces ) and BBQ'd mini bell peppers , Grilled fresh green beans, steamed asparagus and brussel sprouts.

For Dessert ( if we have any room left ) 3 types mini tarts...apple, mincemeat and pumpkin. Pecan Tassies, mini pumpkin muffins.
Sister asked if she could bring mini strawberry cheesecakes and a pan of her ooey gooey brownies! I accepted!

small to med turkey, yams, tatoes, carrots & stuffing. Im not a fan of turkey..its SOOOO DRY. maybe we will have a roast beef for xmas?
