So on Tuesday I received the hearing aid for my left ear and IT WORKS!!! The Audiologist did the
" testing, testing 1,2, 3 " thing, then instructed me on how to rest it on the outside of my ear and
insert the other end deep inside the ear canal. I have a remote volume control that will be very useful
for watching tv with others.
I learned quite a bit about this device, like I must place it in the charger every night before bed to have
it last through a whole next day at full power. Life is SO MUCH BETTER NOW!! With my confidence back
I can get my balance issues restored AND drive again!

When I got home after the appointment the first thing I did was make the claim to my Insurance!
( always the frugal-ee! ), then I turned on the tv and for the first time I can now have both TV remotes
lowered to half the volume. They were both on the highest setting prior to this. My guys will appreciate
the lower tv noise level and me always yelling " WHAT?? "
Oh not to be concerned about the time of this post...night owls here, shift workers rule!

sniff, sniff I was rooting for Norway but oh well....England broke their hearts with a 2-1 win.
I just don't have it in me to watch another full FIFA match ( Argentina vs Switzerland ) tonight.
Plus the Jays are playing at the same time.

That was so much fun to watch the HR Derby. Jordan Walker is the first St Louis Cardinal to win it!!
My heart sunk for Kyle Schwarber who seemed to have it won until Jordan homered on all 6 of his last swings!
The boos were loud and many when Jordan hit the winning HR as the Phillies fans were crushed that their guy lost.
Now for All Star game later tonight!!

A fun filled get together sleepover with my sister-in-laws. We traveled in 1 vehicle out of town.
So many chortles, wine was drunk? drank? I remember some of it.....lol.
DH greeted me when I was driven back home, I went straight to bed. Sunday was recovery day.

Oh sure Blue Jays. Now you start winning games! Good thing the entire A/L East is also performing less than.
Still....the front office will likely sell off their older guys. Gausman was great today, the fans did him right with standing O's.

What an evening! The under 18 Canadian's team won GOLD against the USA in the Gretzky Hlinka 8-1 final !!
Then the Blue Jays took game 2 against Philly in extra innings ( again ) WE ate our dinner in front of the tv....ha ha

@flemeth I MUST ask if your gang lost their minds at last nights Blue Jay game? In particular, that very odd rule that awarded the Red Sox their only run!!
Thank goodness our closer Louis Varland ended them in the 9th inning.
