Which companies have you emailed?

I've gotten coupons from e-mailing:
Chapman's - the 5.00 and 3.00 coupons (you can only request once a year)
Primo - I've gotten 2 X 1.00 off anything except soup several times
Johnson & Johnson - 5.00 off any X3

I just tell them that I like thier products and use them regularly and ask for coupons, leaving my address at the end.

I emailed Pepsi a couple weeks ago - they don't give out coupons anymore. I'd just check with the companies of the product you use on a regular basis and email them...the only thing they can say is no!

Two I have e-mailed and gotten responses for:

Spitz (Sunflower seeds) - e-mailed a compliment - getting coupons in the mail they said (even though you can get a coupon for a free bag on Facebook)

SoftSoap - sent them a compliment - got a response saying they are sending coupons

Best advice out there. I would say 85% of companies I have e-mailed so far have been willing to send me coupons, samples, OR complete vouchers after I complimented their products and inquired about them. I've also found that pointing out features found on their American sites that aren't on their Canadian sites can work, too (IE coupons or clubs available for Americans but not Canadians).

So basically, just contact your favourite brands, tell them which products you like and how much you like them, and ask if they have coupons/samples

I also contacted by mail from their website, but didn't get anything. I called them and they sent me the coupons I wanted. so maybe try to call them.
