Just wondering, if you buy something and find out you were over-charged at sdm, can you bring it back and do scop and get it for free, and get your money back, or does it have to be while you are in the store and they scan it? I am debating what to do tomorrow, I will probably end up returning it.

, take the item and your store receipt back to SDM, maybe you can SCOP, from experience shopping there I always have the their flyer with me when I cash out and check my receipt carefully, have been over charged a few times. Good luck!

Second store I did 2 orders (because the bonus coupons I have are one per account I believe). the orders were basically the same.Total after tax and coupons was $17.54 I got 24580 and 24280 in points.

The total points was 56810. That is about $142 in points depending on the day. On a bonus redeem like we had last weekend that would get me almost $175 in groceries. It cost me $42.84. Oh and I got 250 in points buying a GC first.

I basically made $100 by using my coupons.

    I Luv SDM

Great shopping! I'm confused about the SDM pts though. How did you get over 56000pts when you only spent $42 something???? Even if it's 20X the points, at 10pts for every $1 spent, it only comes to 8400 pts ($42X10X20). Can someone clarify??

The points are calculated on the total that you spent. Coupons get deducted from your total price.

I'm determine to figure this out. Will calc it tonight to see if I get the same as what is written on the receipt. Or if someone has a sample to demonstrate that would be great cause I think a lot of people are confused also.

    HOLY SMOKES>
    That's incredible!!!

I've got some rice krispies and nutrigrain... I might just go collect some points
I'm curious about the bonus points.. how were these gained? Purchase over $50? A coupon needed?

product bonus points are from either an instore promo or from a coupon like the ones people have posted in some other threads. I double dipped and had some from instore as well as the coupon on top of using coupons on the items I bought.

Below is a copy of the first receipt. Don't know if you can read it. That order had only store points and not product points.

So I take it that the bonus pts that you get on this receipt is from the in store bonus pts offer correct? Which products did you get the bonus pts on?

I know at Loblaws, I've gone back because of an overpriced item. They used SCOP and I got $10 off. Maybe SDM will do the same for you...Good Luck!!
