Two new developments in the SuperPoints world:

1) I've seen people winning 10 points on the button lately (few and far between, but it is happening). Hopefully this is a sign of things getting better.

2) You can now invite others to join - up to 17 people at one time, by sending them an email or through an invite link. It says you earn $5 for each person you get to sign up, $1.75 for each person they get to sign up and $0.25 person for each person that those people get to sign up. I'm not sure if they give you points (500 points=$5 Amazon gift card) or if they actually give you cash, but I guess we'll see.

Looks like you can earn points for completing offers and watching videos now (sound familiar)? Slowly but surely SuperPoints is turning back into... something decent.

The biggest change that’s happening in the invite / referral system is that we’re now going to charge a $9.95 annual membership fee to new members.

If you’re already a Superpoints member, there is no annual membership fee for the first year if you sign into the site within the next 30 days. If you don’t sign in within 30 days, your “old” account will be deleted. We’ll send a notice to everyone about this soon.

So basically if your a new member your going to be charged, and if your a current member(who signs in before December 9th), then you have a free year, after that you'll be charged too.

The only good news is the below;

Apparently soon enough they'll be doing a poll to see who wants the return of LuckySearch, and maybe even variants on what used to be the Reward Ladder.


Obviously since i'm a current member i won't be charged for the first year, which means i will of course continue to use the website.

However my own moral standards will not allow me to invite anyone to a site which charges its members a fee to just join.

However as soon as i can see it is easily possible to make more than $40 per year from it(a 400% increase on the fee), i won't be inviting anyone to join this website.
