No really, I found a bread "warehouse". It's a surplus place and they sell bread from many different places. Listen since my son has been on a bread and cheeze whiz kick he goes through about a loaf a day. So they sell returns and surplus and the dates are anywhere from 3 - 10 days before the best before date. Anyways i'm freezing most of it. All the loaves no matter what mark, size or type are $1.25 each. So I got the Campangnola Olive Oil bread and the Brunch bread. The brunch one is exactly like the Tim Hortons bread. Nice thick slices. For everything in the picture I paid $11.89. (8 loaves and 6 bagels)Even at Costco the bread is almost $3 each now.

Great job. Bread is always a tough one for me to buy. We go through so much of it and I do try to make my bread as much as possible but every once in awhile I have to buy it. I have a hard time paying upto $2 a loaf though.
The best deal I ever found was at SDM one day, I was heading out the door and the Dempsters was on clearance for .65 cents a loaf. I was the crazy lady loading up on every bag they have left. I can't even make bread for that price. I just froze it all and it lasted us a good three months. It was awesome, especially since we go through almost a loaf a day here.~smart shoppin', stay at home, young(ish) Mama to two great kids and one on the way. Always getting the best products for the lowest price, and having fun doing it.

I have a place like this here too where I buy my bread. They have all sorts of brands from Dempsters to Villagio etc., raisin bread, hamburger and hot dogs buns. All for $0.99. I usually try to stop by when I am around the store and always end up buying a few extra breads that I freeze.
