Snake: sounds like a tonne of fun!!! i should check skating times at the rink here (i don't trust our lakes). ryan has new (to him) skates and they won't fit him next year, plus i knitted him skating socks, goes right up to his knees..

i think their times interfers with church tho

I missed QAF 3X SO FAR. 1st time, show was almost over, np on again at 1 am. was doing up a chore chart for ryan and i forgot to go down and push the vcr button. am freaking, but it comes on again at 6am, so i got hubby to change his phone and wake me up when he goes to work. he didn't wake me up!!! said he checked and the vcr looked like i had set it. wtf? now i thought it was sweet of him to let me know qaf was on, even sweeter to wake up at 2 am and gimme his phone to change the alarm,

but now i'm wondering if it was all an act! he really does not want me to have gale in da house!!!

DIRTY RICE As much rice as you need
Dirt (prefer Mississippi gumbo mud)
Cook rice. Add 1 handful dirt per pound, 2 handfuls if you really like dirty rice. Mix well, serve in dark room.NOTE: Goes will with turnip greens.

wake up ppl i'm lonely!!!

so ok. i decided to make my own version, instead of making something no one will eat. so am going to use reg rice (not inst), hamburger, onions, garlic and celery (the trinity), and some "cajun spice mix" i found a recipe for,

now i need liquid. can't decide between, chicken or beef broth, or stewed tomatoes.

What you are really heading towards there is spanish rice using hamburger instead of chicken! I use tumeric and paprike, but Ive subed cumin or curry instead of tumeric. Use chicken broth and jurice from canned tomatoes to cook it all together in the oven or slow cooker!

I just crawled out of bed, actually slept thru the nite, what a creepy feeling!

We have the DVR and it TOTALLY rocks! Brings a whole new meaning to watching tv! My husband and I rarely watching "live tv" anymore! But, we never miss out on our shows either! YOU MUST GET IT! You will never regret it! It's only $14.95/month plus the $4.95/month for digital cable. We are also with Eastlink and I have the 15X. I don't see MUCH of a difference, depends on the time of day. But, the faster we can get, the better it is so that's why we have it. No real complaints with the service so far...best of luck with it

NS if you crack an egg or two over your rice you will end up with a meaty fried rice. Whenever I have leftover rice, I fry some onions and any other veggies I have in the fridge, garlic (and last week I put grape tomatoes, mushrooms, leek, celery and bok choy) into the fry pan lightly sautee. Then add the old rice once it is warm just add some cracked eggs. Its really good and filling as well and a good way to turn a little bowl of rice into a meal for a family.

LOLCAT, Rogers has OUTTV as well, int he 30 or 40's I think from the channel listing if you have the VIP. It is the gay/lesbian/trans channel hence the name OUT (out of the closet). I don't get to watch it much cuz of hubby and no offense to people but most of the shows either gross me out or freak me out but I look for QAF for NS (and of course myself, love Brian)
