general "tell a friend" question....

I registered my husband's card from the SDM email, then emailed 10 friends. (I know.. I should have registered him under my card so that we both get points - I messed up on that one!)
Question: does my husband need to shop for his registered friends to get their points??

No, they'll get their 5000 points regardless of whether he shops. He will not, however, get ANY points (for either himself or the 10 referrals) if he does not shop.

Group 2: Shopped yesterday .. had a couple bumps as I shopped with the wrong optimum card but went back today and had it refunded and resold to the proper registered optimum card... What a mess!!! All fixed now though.. Thanks Cyanne & Rachel for the advice !!
Subtotal was $35.61 before tax and after $28.00 in coupons !!!!

I think she did it right. Subtotal was 35 AFTER $28 in coupons. At least thats how I read it.

LoL i shopping last nite and the total was 32.68 went i get home i see the subtotal was 29.95 so if I see at the store a get a candy to complete but now i have to go back to get 30$ shopping..any way I get Melita coffee for 3$ whem the regular price is 4.99....LOL

You need to spend the $30 in one transaction. Just going back for some candy isn't going to count, unless you also return everything you already bought and repurchase it all at the same time.

I got smarter this time around and asked for the subtotal before I paid. Last time, I was just under $20 before taxes and it was annoying to ask for a refund, then find a filler item to purchase.

I think you misread my post.. it was $35.61 after coupons so my total would have been $63.61 plus taxes. Your total has to be $30.00 no matter what

I had problems like that last time - my card was lost so I registered and shopped with DHs card for the SC groups. But I wanted the spouse points. When they issued me my new card it took until after the event for them to get it "online" for me to access it. They were good about it and honored the points for DH referring me.

By my calculations we are waiting for one more shopper for group #2!! YEAH!!!
