    Boo is thinking that maybe he said "a Wii set". Almost sounds the same. Here I am thinking it is some kind of trivia game for Wii. lol. I am glad Boo pointed that out to me, so I didn't look like a complete jerk in the morning when I rant.

    Okay, so for sure there's no such thing as a Wii Said and even if he thought you said Wii Set he should have double checked exactly what product you were looking for before he agreed to set it aside! What a dumb guy!

    I'm so so sorry about this experience (and the BK!) but I hope SDM head office is helpful. :D

    Absolutely! Employer is responsible for the employee's actions in return they have the right to know an idiot is working for them and freaking customer away.

    WOW... Sorry about your Experience at SDM but seriously some of the employees seem clueless or could care less!! I would def. call SDM or shoot of an email!!!

    Truthfully, and I don't have much to back up what I'm about to say, but I think they pretend to be "sold out" of these on bonus redemption day.

    How is it possible that all over the entire GTA NOT ONE STORE would have it in stock?

    I'm in Brampton and the one at Bramalea City Centre had a Wii Fit package with a big ol' sold out sign taped to it. On Friday night I had called to put a Wii on hold (gave her my name), and I asked how many they had in stock. She said 6.

    Well on Saturday when I went up to the photo lab (thats where they keep them) I told the girl I had put a Wii on hold. She looks under the counter, and says "its not here". I was like WAH?? So I told her I had specifically put on on hold the night before at 8:45pm (they close at 9) and that the girl had told me there were 6 in stock. So then she went into the back room, checked again and said "no, I don't see any". I was dumfounded, and told her again my name, so she went back again and then *magically* she found it! (I could see in the door there were 3 of them on a shelf).

    So there is my story. Take from it what you want. Thankfully I did end up getting the Wii, and the look on my boys face when they saw it was worth the hassle

    If you really want a product, its best to go on the first day of the sale, or at the start of this bonus redemption promotion. This product is popular, so it makes sense that it sold out. I don't know what a Wii set/said is, but the SA should of clarified with you exactly what you wanted to put on hold, saving you the time of going down there if they didn't have it, that's bad customer service on their part. Sorry you had to go through this.

    Sorry you went through that ordeal! I do understand your disappointment, I know I would have been ticked off royally if it happen to me, especially if I had gone through such extremes as you did by having to get a taxi there! Geez, maybe Shoppers will compensate you with some extra reward points. GL

    AND - so sorry you had to go through that. I spent the better part of the day calling around and driving around to all the Shoppers in Ottawa trying to track down a Wii fit with no luck. Very frustrating day. I hope you get a ton of bonus points for your troubles..
