Spicy Moroccan Braised Lamb over pearl couscous.
Our local Bulk Barn had a new Turmeric Pearl Couscous so giving that a try.
Monday- Dinner out at steak house- We had scallops, oysters, tenderloin steak, short ribs and Truffle Gnocchi.
Tuesday- Prime rib, scallop potatoes, carrots and ceaser salad
Wed- Clean out the freezer- Peameal roast and chicken wings, fresh asparagus, oven baked French fries (use up the bits in freezer)
Thursday- making chicken drumsticks for the boys to feast on and pasta with chicken/peppers/onions/broccoli
Corn on the Cob and back ribs
..I made chicken cordon bleu, instead of flattening the chicken breast and rolling, I cut the chicken breast book style and stuffed with ham & swiss cheese, dipped in egg wash and generously sprinkled with seasoned bread crumbs and baked at 350 for approx 45 mins..baked potato & sauteed spinach
came out pretty good...

Daughter is away so I got lamb, YEAH!
SIL doesn't like black olives so they are missing, hmmmmmmmmm.

Tonight is pot roast, with cheesy cauliflower bake and steamed green beans.
Meat pies and French fries covered in gravy
a large salad of mixed greens, red onion, tomatoes, flaked salmon with a balsamic vinaigrette dressing and a whole grain bun
I have a sirloin grilling steak marinading, will sear that later and make another ginormous salad with various veggies & greens, its alcoholic beverage night so will have to add a couple of whole grain buns :-) Happy Friday!
We are going to get take out fish and chips for a change
Could not pass up a NF sale of large chicken leg/thighs. $2.50 for each pack of 4 legs and I squeezed all 4 in the Air Fryer basket after trimming away most of the excess underside skin. Sliced 2 heads of fresh cauliflower ( 2 /$5.00 at Fresh Co ) into thick slabs for roasting, sliced up and sauteed 2 x 227 gram pkgs. of mushrooms ( woo hoo .50 a pkg )
This meal was frugal!
Grilled chicken with a homemade Mango BBQ sauce. Acorn squash, Bok Choy, Jalapano poppers and stuffed mushrooms also all on the grill.
Chicken wings on the bbq and cut up vegetables with dip on the side
Tonight will be BBQ Chicken Chunks for me, BBQ Chicken Wings for Mom with a Cesar Salad and either Oven Fries or Homemade Wedges
thai hot pot at my parents' place; they are back from cuba and will be cooking :)

I have cooking in the oven a large Sirloin Tip Beef roast that I picked up on sale. In the roaster I added potatoes, turnip, carrot, onions, garlic, thyme, bay leaf, S&P..so its cooking away while I watch Star Trek. Should be lots of leftovers for tomorrow too!
Going to try Homemade Lasagna, will just have a small piece with Cesar Salad and Garlic Bread. I find tomato can be hit & miss with my side.
Beer can chicken on the grill, dry rub pork butt chops in the oven,
cheese tortellini in a tomato cream sauce and steamed broccoli.
Tonight bake chicken , dressing ,turnip, cabbage,carrots,potatoes,salt beef , onion bread pudding ,pease pudding , dumplings,gravy
dessert ..made old fashion Newfie partridge berry tarts and serve with vanilla ice cream
..lots of leftovers from yesterday so making hot roast beef sandwiches and may add a few home fries with the leftover veggies...
BLSL chicken with asparagus and maybe onion rings for DS to use up the 1/2 bag I saw kicking around in freezer (I'm on a mission to clean out the kitchen freezer...completely this week)
Tomorrow- Beef roast in the slow cooker with potatoes and baby carrots. Will make gravy to go with it.
Nothing fancy. We needed to use ground beef, tomato and lettuce so we got a soft taco kit and made it for dinner. Pepsi to drink.
Last night Mom made Chicken Breast coasted in a Garlic Lemon Bread Crumb with Mashed Potatoes and Mixed Veggies. Pretty sure I was mid attack during dinner so I ate the veggies, some potato and decided to lay down.
Last night was chicken breasts spiced and baked in oven with rice and asparagus and mushrooms.
Tonight- Roast beef with gravy, green beans and thinking oven fries to please the youngest.
Wed- Quesidias with the leftover meat from past 2 nights
..found 2 med-large packs of spareribs on sale yesterday 50% off...so making honey garlic ribs and rice (still deciding on fried rice or plain rice with stir-fry veggies on the side) lots of ribs!! should be leftovers for tomorrow too :-)

Last night we have Cheese Tortellini with Chicken and Mushrooms in a Sauce made mostly of Pasta water with a touch of Cream
..lots of ribs leftover for today and they were yummy!! I made extra rice yesterday so will have fried rice today and spring rolls :)
