I made a cheesy pasta, veggie, ground beef casserole. It was pretty good and relatively healthy. I had it all cooked up and kept it warm in the oven when I headed to my 4:00pm meeting. Texted dh to let him know the food was ready when he brought LO home from daycare.
Last night I made my MIL's "osso bucco" using beef instead of veal shank. It turned out sooooooo yummy :P
I got a beautiful cast iron Dutch oven in the states for $49(tax in) that was reg $140(tax in)!!!! I <3 it so much I'm going to use it again tonight and make something with chicken thighs :)
I'm open to suggestions :)
Apparently Harbie is the only one eating today-or at least planning ahead and posting!! I think we will clean up some leftovers in the fridge.
I put a beef roast in the slow cooker this morning...not sure what I'm doing with it yet, too tired for a big fuss so might just make a sandwich on fresh cheese buns..lol..:pop2:
I made more cod, late last night. Served as DH late night meal, and our dinner today.

I am planning on making a chicken and veggie stirfry with noodles for supper tomorrow night.
Tonight is pork chops on the bbq (was going to put in slow cooker but ran out of time this morning) and it is a bbq kind of day anyway!.
we are having sweet & sour meatballs with rice pilaf.
Luckily, I have tons of leftovers from the roast, and I saved the au jus (lol) to make gravy, so will make some mashed potatoes, carrots, etc...
Tonight I'm making braised chicken thighs with kale and paprika & white wine :)

Yesterday, take-out Chinese food from the mall. Lots leftover to have today and tomorrow, probably.
