Shipwreck casserole
..we were suppose to be BBQing ribs on the bbq..but its soooo windy, impossible...so they're in the oven right now...(my mint blew away  ) pot and all...but I'll replant!! will make rice & corn to go with it :)
Moose steak sliced up and turned into stroganoff with canned mushrooms, green onion from the garden, with boiled mixed veggies, egg noodles, and a glass of milk.
Stuffed Cornish hens, broccoli, gravy and mashed potatoes. Chocolate cake for dessert.
pan fried chicken breasts, steamed veggies and side salad
..we ate ribs at 9:30 last night lol..hoping to go to the cabin this evening but it might be too windy for the boat so will have to wait and see later this afternoon....and some rain for the next couple of days..so still deciding...it will most likely just be something simple on the bbq like burgers or juicy jumbos, etc
Tonight's supper plan is moose steak sliced up, cooked with green onion from
my garden and green giant frozen broccoli with fresh rice and a glass of milk. Then we are heading out to the fair for the evening. I purchased an advance ride bracelet for our son who is nearly 4yrs old. It will be his first time going on rides at the fair.
Tonight we will have:
pork chops on BBQ ( free with PC pts)
asparagus (1.88 lb)
potatoes (.25 for 5 lb bag!!!! So like 5 cents lol)
sliced cucumber with homemade dip (.57 received 400 PC pts)
cheap dinner!!!
Rigatoni in meat sauce, meatballs, an Italian loaf and caesar salad.
Fried rice, Asian noodle stir fry, egg foo yung and egg rolls
I had a late lunch, but husband will have leftover shipwreck casserole for supper. I'll grab something later.
chef salad? i don't know but we made big salad with lettuce (spring mixed and ice berg), cherry tomato, cheddar cheese, hard boiled eggs, ham, turkey and avocado. Hubby added crispy fried onion on his too.
oh my! Used up the last GC from Xmas last night at The Keg. My steak done medium was perfect! DH made his usual joke about keeping my fork stuck firmly into it as I ate or it would crawl off the plate ( groan! he always orders his WELL done, ugh!! )
Such a lovely meal.
