Lol, I hope it's just the cooking. It smells nice to me but others not so much sometimes. Very simple curry: curry powder, garlic, onion powder, paprika and cumin, coconut mlik and then add in the chickpeas and maybe some potatoes. Also just a touch of flour to thicken it. Make a roux and then slowly add the coconut milk and simmer.
Country style ribs w/ baked beans and a salad.
Last night was really yummy fresh fish and chips here in Maui- 2 types of fish-mahi mahi and ono-so good I will definitely go back.

...I had a large beef roast that I cut in 1/2, the first half is in the oven cooking slowing for sandwiches over the next couple of days..and the other 1/2 I cut up and simmering on the stove in a small dipper for beef stew and I'm making bisquick dumplings...comfort food at its finest...hee hee hee...and I made a large pot of pasta sauce full of ground beef, mushrooms, onion, garlic, etc that I might turn into a lasagna tomorrow
Decided on Steak Sandwiches for Dinner tonight, will serve with Mushroom and Onions and Roasted Potatoes.
My wife made up a bunch of assorted sandwiches (egg salad, tuna salad, roast beef and salmon salad) Will put some chips on the side
Actually wound up not making the curry. My aunt took me for dinner at East side marios. They have some meals where you get to take a second meal home with you. So my aunt told me to take her take home meal too. Then she took me for groceries and paid for it until I pay her back Tuesday. :)

late last night before the guys got home I made up another stew! Hoping they wouldn't say " oh no! not stew again " , they didn't....whew!
This time I pressure cooked trays of the marked down cuts of veal chops I had in the freezer, then added lots of large diced green peppers, some onions, carrots and spuds, with a twist on the flavouring I dumped in a pouch of that free Teriyaki sauce sample I got so long ago..... turned out pretty good.
Forgot until I was reminded last night that I am on my own for dinner so thinking quick and simple leftovers, we still have a few different items in the fridge that need to be used up or frozen. I will choose what I want when I get home and then work on freezing the rest.
