What's For Dinner?

Made DS his new fav- Chicken Parm. He gave me thumbs up! Best part is that my smart shopping made it happen for $1.66 per serving!!!

My tummy seems to be a little bit off today so kept it simple for dinner: Waffles

Ceasar salad today.

Tonight Dh cooked pork cutlets, M&C, and mixed veggies.

We had a strange mix on vacation here. Sausage, corn muffins from a mix and fresh asparagus. Dinner for the two of us for less than $4. Sure beats eating out as that would barely cover the tip-lol.

More Christmas prep ( things to make ahead and freeze edition )

I had the genius idea of making my Christmas bread stuffing all up, filling 2 of those stretchy net bags, tying the ends off and wrapping tightly in cling wrap, then into where else? The freezer!
So I did it!
Yep, now on the 23rd or 24th I'll let them thaw in the fridge, then simply insert one of them into the cavity of the turkey and the second stuffing bag......unsure atm.
I have a single large frozen turkey breast that I " could " turn into a stuffed roll thingy?

Hoping this all works out like it has in my head! lol.

Saturday night had homemade pizza at my daughter's out of town,and we could take home leftovers (but i forgot as we had to put the xmas box empty in our car and 2 bags ) UGGGGGG

I had just placed the dry beans to soak all day for chili. Then DH mentions he feels like Fish 'N Chips.....sigh, he'll hit the Take Out place later tonight, I'll make the chili on Tuesday.

Grabbe a Spaghetti Squash so going to make Caprese Chicken Spaghetti Squash

we are going out for Mexican food for lunch-so probably just a boxed pizza for dinner.

We did our first door dash order from Boston Pizza. We signed up via our bank with a partnership deal so we got free delivery fees for a year plus 50% off our first 2 orders (to $20). DH had ribs and I had chicken parm..both were delish. Fingers crossed, I think we receive cashback via ampli as well.

Going to try One Pot Gnocchi Chicken Pot Pie tonight and make homemade Dinner Rolls. Mom said she will rolls the dinner rolls if I can make the dough, no problem I found a bread machine recipe.

I love my bread machine, makes making dough so easy especially on work days. I can just dump everything in and the bread machine does all the work well I finish my work day

Bread machine is so great for fast dough making @SassyAshley , I also used mine for that, never baking in the machine. These days however, the bread machine is stored up in the rafters because I am using my new love....my CookLee mixer machine.
The chili got made at 11:00 p.m. last night....a few hours after we enjoyed that delicious Fish 'N Chip dinner.
Their coleslaw is the way I like it, made with vinegar instead of a bunch of mayo in it.

@walkonby , I never bake in the bread machine, do not like how it comes out. But I let the Bread Machine do the heavy lifting.
