Mickey D's today. Had to have a McRib (not as good as I remembered, ate 1/2) and the 1/2 price with coupon Tuscan salad with grilled chicken. Wow it was good! It was fine for 3.40, but I would not pay 6.80 regular price.
Have to pick DS up from school later so we'll probably grab McD's on the way home :)
spaghetti and meat sauce and italien sausages
Argh... one of these days when I'm out of ideas or desires for meatless meals..... It's easier when I can be creative and make a fancier meal, but not so much when I need it to be painless and easy....
I've flipped back pages for ideas, but nothing hit me... might end up being just eggs and pasta.
I am making pizza.
BBQ sauce-less BBQ chicken, fish 'n chips shop chips, hummus...mmmm! Salad too I'm sure
I am making fettuccine alfredo and a salad tonight
This was made yesterday, but there are still a couple left. Never tried making these before and I have always loved them at pot lucks we have had.
The circular rice paper is stiff and you just place the circle in warm water, then lift out all soft and fill and roll up! Talk about an easy appetizer to serve.
For the filling I just threw together some vermicelli thin noodle mixture that was leftover, added chopped cooked shrimp, shredded carrot, some bean sprouts to it, and a dab of the 5 asian spice (VH sauce).
I like mine with plum sauce but I know you are supposed to serve with a spiced up rice vinegar dip. Anyone else ever tried making these?
umm no, but now I want to!
Well, I got out of my 'what's for dinner?' funk, and actually threw something together which came out most awesome! My son said, make sure you make this recipe again - well, there wasn't one, I just winged it.
I cooked a small package of spaghetti, broken in half. Mixed in 1/4 cup margarine, 1/2 small jar of cheez whiz, 1/2 cup sour cream, 1 can mushroom soup, a small handful of dried chives, salt, pepper, and lots of garlic powder. Put it in a baking dish, covered it by a topping of fine bread crumbs mixed in melted margarine. Baked about 40 minutes at 325 - and wowsers! It was awesome!
Lazy dinner tonight. Made Chicken Strips that I got cheap with my M&M coupon, Mixed Veggies, and Betty Crocker Potatoes.
