Dw has a roast beef in the slow cooker with spuds and carrots.
Tonight we are making Chicken Tetrazini! Youngest DS's fav so there will be no complaining. If he is hungry while we wine and cook then he can have a few chicken drumsticks to munch on from the other night :)

There's leftover pizza ...and I have a pork blade shoulder roast in the fridge (thawed) but I didn't get up early enough this morning to put it in the slow cooker..lol...so will slow cook in the oven and still try and make pull pork and have on fresh buns ..or maybe wraps....I also bought 10 lbs of cabbage yesterday for $6.00 so might try an incorporate in a stir fry---see what I feel like later :)

I had Caesar salad, macaroni and corn. Husband had leftover Chinese food.
Went to DD place she made Mac and cheese, broiled side ribs, Caesar salad and home made bread. Jello with whipped cream for dessert. Third night in a row i didn't have to cook, gosh darn it i'm happy!
Chicken and mushroom Alfredo with ancient grains speghittini and a big glass of milk.

very economical cabbage rolls! A $1.29 ( I LOVE when cabbage is not priced " per pound " ) so I grabbed the biggest one!
( The lean ground beef and cans of tomato juice were on sale before this, my large bag of Basmati rice in stockpile )
Made shamefully large rolls ( betcha CAN only eat one ) from the 10 outermost leaves, finished up the the head with more modest sized rolls....froze quite a few!
Every so often I switch up making the it the lazy cabbage way to the real thing.
Lazy day so we are going to have egg salad sandwiches with chips on the side

Decided to make a donair hash out of the leftover meat. I diced up 4 large potatoes, some onion, garlic and tomatoes. A little donair sauce on top. It tastes ok, the tomatoes I could have left off lol

First BBQ of the season, once we waited for the rain to stop. Burgers (Sensations sirloin - fab!) with lots of fixings, homemade macaroni salad.

mmmm reading this makes me hungry. I think I am alone for dinner tonight unless the teen shows up. I am thinking Chinese. Starting to not work my ass off all the time when I don't have to! Life is short. I need to enjoy it.
