This contest is just a way of having fun and giving out prizes at SmartCanucks.ca. A photo can never capture the real beauty and lovely spirit of babies and the outcome of this contest should not be taken seriously.

I chose these gift cards because they're all Canadian companies. I like Cara because you can use their gift cards at several restaurants including Swiss Chalet, Montana's, Kelesy's, Second Cup and Harvey's.

To make sure this does not turn into a popularity contest only 1 person per household may vote. If you try cheating you will get caught and immediately suspended from the contest.

It is fine to ask a friend or relative who lives somewhere else to vote once. But you may not logon on behalf of your friend or relative and vote. If say you have 2 sisters who do not live with you but live in the same house, only one of them may vote: 1 vote per household.

You cannot ask everyone you know at work to vote but you may ask a colleague to vote from their home.

Anyway this is Skyler. The first picture is taken the day she was born (July 27, 2006). She weighed 1 lb 7.5 oz. The second picture was taken last month. She now weighs over 10 lbs (still a little underweight, but doing well). I am her proud grandma and she is my miracle baby.

Just added a picture of Skyler on her 10 months birthday. As you can see she is doing great and now weights almost 12 lbs. This was taken at the Teddy Bear's Picnic.
