I was so surprised when I got home from an auction sale last night and found out I was one of the winners of the MomLogic "Moms night out" contests - I won a set of 3 "date night" dvds. This was another contest I thought was US only but I guess not since I won!

This is NOT a sob story but kind of a funny story. My life has been a little stressful lately. Hubby quit his job last week after 17 years, we got into a car accident this week and Friday we find out one of my stepsons friends got called into the Principal's office for selling drugs (my stepson seems to be on the straight and narrow - he and his friends told on this kid to set him straight). I have suddenly developed a weird twitch in the nerves under my right eye. One of my friends who knows the stress I am under is a really nice East Indian girl and she asked:

Which eye? Answer: Right Eye

She says in her religion twitch under left eye is bad. Twitch under right eye is LUCKY therefore I just entered the Cityline Africa contest on the last day and EXPECT some luck to come my way. I think she was pulling my leg though. We shall see

I won a couple of contests in the past 2 weeks! One was from Nestle or Neilson (LOL... I couldn't tell what she said on the phone) and all I know it was a company that makes chocolate... and I kept thinking...LADY... get to the important stuff here... WHAT did I win and did it involve chocolate? LOL... anyhow, I have NO clue where the contest took place or when, because they didn't say. She did tell me that I had the choice of four prizes (no chocolate) and the last one was for a Turtle's Towel. I was like... okay Ms. Practical... get the towel, and I like turtles. The towel showed up and sure enough it is THE Turtle's (you know the commercial... turtle's turtle's ra' ra' ra'... turtles turtles ha' ha' ha... oooh ... I love turtles)... that's the towel... a big Turtle! AND... about 100 of each kind of fake tattoo... for the Nestle Quick Bunny and Smarties. I am totally going to share the tattoo's with my SC friends!!

ALSO... abc642 had a contest and today I won!! COOL!! I got a $5 GC for Amazon.com thanks Kai!

I also won a contest with BargainShopper last week... a huge envie stuffed with $100+ in coupons (she mailed it Friday)... so... more to share with my SC friends!!

And I came in 3rd place in another SC contest for nominations.

I also one a bag of sunchips at Subway last week, and a cookie from Subway the week before.

Whaoooo hoooo... I'm on a streak!!... I'm hoping for a car next. Or just chocolate... whichever comes first. LOL

I just won a instant prize while entering Heinz Ketchups contest to win a grand prize of $25,000. I ended up wining a Barbq worth $300.

awesome! i'm holding out to be one of the monthly 6 finalists...september is a long ways away, but short enough to see 25,000 in my future!

what time of day did you win this? i'm thinking with today being the end of their draw date they will reset the bbq programming.
