    Today went to safeway
    bought 100.00 got 350 airmiles which is equal to 50.00 in best western gift cards.
    Buy 6 2l cokes get 50 airmiles I got 12 = 100 miles
    Buy 5 pizza pops or mini pizzas get 50 miles I got 10 = 100 miles
    Buy rotiserre chickens get 25 miles I got 2 = 50 miles
    Spend 100.00 get 100 miles
    Mind you cokes were 3 for 5.00
    pizzas 3 for 8.00
    and chickens 7.99 I also only bought things that were on sale to affect the 100.00 purchase.
    So my groceries really only cost me 50.00

    I'm kicking myself for not spending another $20 or so. I did get 250AM for $80. My freezer is now full of Pizza Pops & Eggos and I have the Coke to wash it down. lol

    We don't have Safeway here but we have Metro that does air miles , Maybe I should start paying more attention to there sale. Thanks for the post

    Only problem with metro as far as the airmiles go. They have bonus miles, but not the way that safeway does. I sometimes wish I still lived in Vancouver.
