Good morning! Yeah, I did my coupons yesterday too... luckily nothing too valuable will be wasted - I think I threw away about a dozen.

If someone or a few of you make a fantastic dinner tonight, I would like to contribute too. It's only fair when people spend hours in the kitchen, that everyone pitch in.

My son and husband came home from church - and my son's arms were full with a huge sheaf of dill plants! I almost cried, I was so happy!!!! I love using dill, but didn't plant any this year, and have had no luck finding any around here. A family had cleared out their garden and brought huge containers of the dill plants to give away.
So I'll be busy today and tomorrow, chopping and freezing! But, wow, our house smells heavenly - and my son says his car does, too!

Hmmmm, do you dry it first and then freeze it or freeze it fresh?

Fresh dill is so wonderful & fragrant.
I am simmering a great big pot of pasta sauce & the scent of fresh basil is a standout.

After stripping and cleaning the darned dill for two hours so far - I don't know if I ever want to smell it again, sheesh! (Just kidding, I LOVE the smell, but it's too much right now - I think they brought home too much, the guys will have to help me this evening to finish - and it still all needs to be chopped.)
Patty, I've tried drying it before and it wasn't good...
What I do is what the Babas do - put salt on a cutting board, lay on a big pile of trimmed dill, sprinkle on more salt and chop til fine. Then freeze. It's absolutely amazing to pull out a container of this mid-winter and use it to cook with - just like garden-fresh!

The strangest thing is going on in my backyard. I was out watering the pots and one of the towels that I keep hanging on a rack for the pool had 3 bees on it. I thought to myself you stupid bees it's a towel not flowers. They are busy moving about on it so I shoo them away and pick up the towel only to find they are taking all the fluff off it and it is full of holes!!! Damn bees! Somewhere they are building a fuzzy blue nest. Wait until Kiera finds out it's her goldfish towel. LOL

Well today Mr Mick Jagger gets in 67 licks….
& he sure lead a life that's been filled with some kicks!
He's rocked & shimmied all around the globe,
I can still see him gyrating in that flashing strobe,
He's had a life that is hard to conceive,
I'll bet it's even hard for him to believe!
World tours & naughtiness rolled into one,
Certainly a chap that's been seldom outdone,
Will Mick embark on yet another tour?
It wouldn't surprise me he's an entrepreneur,
He's spawned SEVEN children when the time permitted,
At least that's the number to which he's admitted,
So Mick Jagger blow out all those candles a'flamin',
Thanks for the ride is what Loocie's acclaimin!!!
